The Roy Hesketh Circuit is located on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg in Kwazulu Natal and was named after South African driver Roy Hesketh. Doug Aldridge, Colin Dove, Ossie Fisher, George Finch and George Shrives got together with Oliver Hesketh as a Consortium in the early nineteen fifties to first build and then maintain and improve the circuit. This heritage website has been designed by Nigel Owen a former resident of Pietermaritzburg who was a mechanic at Kempster Kingslea and part of their racing division with their Vauxhall Viva GT driven by Ray Emond.
